Principal of Education
As the principal of Education at Teen Treatment Center, Alysha coordinates the student’s academics while their on medical leave so they do not get behind in school. She is passionate about working in academia and helping teens battle substance abuse. She enjoys combining creativity, perseverance and aptitude to drive teens to be the best version of themselves possible. She gets excited when interacting with students as they discover what inspires them to be positive individuals.
After working as a teacher at Teen Treatment Center, Alysha transitioned to the role of Principal of Education. Prior to joining Teen Treatment Center, she worked for the Drug Abuse Foundation as a behavioral health educator working with drug education prevention programs in Palm Beach County Schools and family substance abuse prevention programs. She was also a facilitator for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office’s Another Way Program, which she received an award for her exemplary work. As a member of a national sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., she upholds the mission of public service, leadership and education of youth.
Alysha obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Social Science with a concentration in Communication Disorders and Political Science at University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She is currently obtaining her Master of Science in Education at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.
