Kari Bouldin, MA, LMFT
Director of Family Services
Kari joined The Treatment Center team in 2012 as a primary therapist. She soon became a clinical therapist for the intensive outpatient program, the lead family therapist at Teen Treatment Center and is now our Director of Family Services. Her passion for keeping the family integrity and dignity intact ignites through her work. She loves seeing families support one another while helping them cope with life’s daily challenges.
Prior to joining The Treatment Center, Kari worked in the substance abuse field and in private practice, counseling children, adolescents, couples, families and individuals. In 2009, she started the Counseling Center at St. David’s in the Pines Episcopal Church in Wellington, Florida, which provided free, community-based therapy services. Before transitioning as a successful marriage and family therapist, Kari enjoyed a 22-year long career as a private piano and voice instructor. After counseling children and witnessing the family dynamics from years of teaching, Kari naturally excelled in her career as a family therapist.
She received her bachelor’s degree in music at Palm Beach Atlantic University. She later earned her M.A. in Psychology with a specialization in marriage and family therapy from Northcentral University’s COAMFTE program.
Teen Treatment Center has been awarded
the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval.
