The following Teen Treatment Center events are for parents of our alumni. These events provide additional support for parents including support groups, workshops and trainings. We aim to educate and provide hope to parents about how to continue the healing process after treatment.
Family Support Groups
Family support groups are held virtually from 5:30-6:30 pm EDT. Parents of our alumni come together with one of our family therapists to discuss relevant topics.
- October 13th - General discussion
Family workshops are held on-site on Fridays and Saturdays for parents whose teen has recently been admitted to Teen Treatment Center. These workshops provide valuable insight about the treatment process, the condition your teen is struggling with, an opportunity to meet multiple staff members and more.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Skills Training
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is one of the evidence-based treatment methods used at Teen Treatment Center. Parents are encouraged to attend DBT skills training in order to re-enforce what your teen has learned once they return home. These trainings are scheduled as needed and are held both on-site and virtually.
